Pedal removal

Does anyone know how to remove the pedals, specifically the gas pedal? I need to remove the actual pedals, not just the rubber covers. I've searched and couldn't find anything. Anyone have a scan from a Helm's manual? If anyone has directions for removing the brake and e-brake pedals as well that would be great.

I'm trying to install my racing pedals and the back of gas pedal has a block of plastic that I can't get screws through and I want to make sure the others are secured properly in the back.

Thanks in advance.

Easy one, you cant remove the gas pedal. For the racing pedals you will need to drill holes and then screw them in. I dont think you will be able to fit the washer and the nut behind the gas pedal though. I just installed mine this morning and it looked damn near impossible to get the washer and nut in on the gas pedal.

Seriously, the gas pedal can't be removed?!?! I got the brake and e-brake racing pedals on fine. The gas pedal has been tricky, I got the left two screws in, but the right two I can't get in and the lower right one won't go all the way through. Some of the washers won't fit, screws not long enough or not enough space. The e-brake was a little difficult spacing wise, just barely enough room to fit the pedal on.

So close, but those last two screws are a bitch.

How did you manage to get the e-brake one on? Did you remove the rubber insert as well? My install came out OK except for my damn e-brake pedal.

I took the rubber cap off. The original holes i drilled weren't spaced far enough apart so I used a larger drill bit and moved it around inside the hole towards the top left and bottom right to make the holes a little larger. The washer only fit on one of them though. It turned out far better than I expected after I first tried putting the screws through and they inverted.

^ That's for a 3rd gen, our pedals don't look like that or come off that easy.
