Hi guys,

I need to make a pinstripe match for my WDP, which color you think is the best match? (Best to me mean as NOT obvious as it is). Please give me some suggestions...thank you.

black?
Red?
Silver?
White? (The auto guy said the white can't cover the original red stripe)
Any other color?

I think in his other thread he said that the pin stripe is underneath a clearcoat...so it's not a simple stripe removal. If I'm not mistaken he wants to make a new stripe over the old stripe.

i said silver cuz it will blend the best, and then later on, if you want, you can put a white one over that, because silver will be easier to cover up =)

Go without the stripe if you can, otherwise, silver is easiest to cover / remove later on.

Thanks guy..yea, the stripe was under clearcoat and I got no way to remove it except paying 700 to repaint. Other choice is paying 75 dollars and choose some other color to cover it up... I personally dun like the stripe at all (no matter wat color).... but 700 vs 75 is a big different.....

We have a guy that does hand painted stripes at our dealership. I personally don't like stripes. He talked to me at one time about wanting to stripe my WDP TL-S. After I stopped laughing I asked him if he was to paint stripes on my car what color would you choose. He said since the car has black leather in it a real light grey and black or a off white and silver. He said the off white and silver would be so faint that it would almost look like there was no stripe at all untill you were real close to the car. Im happy to say my car is still stripe free.

Make sure they have a crazy offset so they stick out. Oh ya, get tires that are 4x too small for great handling. heh

Anyways, I agree with no stripe. Man, the amount wet sanding and wheeling I had to do to get them off my cav.

I know , I personally want no stripe too. But my case is my car got stripe that I can't REMOVE and is under the clearcoat. So I need to choose some color to cover it.
