Pcked Up A Few Cans Of This At Acura Dealer After Having Service Done
I took the car in for service to have the oil changed & get new brake pads for the rear put on. They told me I needed new rear brake pads at my last oil change. I had about 10% on the original rear pads at that time they told. I waited until this oil change to get it done & just made it before I got to my rotors. But I picked up a few cans of BG products from them over the counter.
This is the stuff that ACURA puts in at some of your service intervals like 15,000 & 30,000 mile service.
I got a can of BG44K FUEL TREATMENT & a can of BG MI 3000 PLUS
The price for the BG44K is around $24.00 a can thats what they charge at the 30,000 mile service for it. I got it for $16.00 the other day. The parts guy ask if I just got service done on my car when I went to the counter & I said yes. He gave me the can of the BG MI 3000 PLUS free & a free key ring because I needed a new one. I was watching last week & someone called in to the show & ask about the BG44K & how often should they use it. He said the average driver should put it in about every 7,500 miles. Like I said ACURA put it in every 15,000 along with the BG MOA OIL TREATMENT. When the ACURA Dealer did my Trans Fluid change at the 30,000 service they put in the BG ATC+ PLUS CONDITIONER.

I forgot to say the ACURA Parts guy told me the BG MI 3000 PLUS replace the BG Supercharger 2 product or at least thats what the are sell now. I have used the Supercharger 2 before & purchased it at ACURA. But the guy told me to put in the BG44K & after a few hundred miles put in the BG MI 3000 PLUS.
Pat Goss also said on his TV show that the BG44K works best when you put it in the tank& do normal driving. He said alot of people think you need to put it in & do long highway trips to get the stuff to work. Pat said that the normal start up drive around town drivng made it work the best. This would allow the stuff to sit & disovle deposits after the engine is shut off & then do its job. Then when you start the car it would go thru the system.
