Passing Emissions

Hey guys, I have tein basics on my car. Recently, I went to get my emissions but the guy told me he couldn't do it because my car is to low. Have anyone came across this problem? Can the tein basics raise back up to factory height? Thanks.

LOL, thats bullshit, take it to another place, all they need to do is hook up your TL to a computer and the connectore is under your head unit. oh and this is OT. but did you notice a good gain with your headers?

some states- like Ca. use a rolling drum type dyno where the code reader and tailpipe sniffer are hooked up the entire time.
I pulled my 01 up and looked at the drums and the guy running it, and pulled on.
As I watched, the drums rose up and the test performed. I was worried about nothing.
Yes my car sits low on its teins and 18s

Look for another shop

The emission guy tried to put this rubber block under my car and he told me he couldn't do it because it was to low. So he didn't even bother to check my car. They told me to come inside. They gave me a piece of paper that told me I have to come back in a year. I dropped it at 2inches. Can the tein basics raise up the car to factory height? Anyone know or have done this? Thanks.

No they wont go up to factory height.
Minimum drop is 1.5 inches with them iirc
Just crank them up- get it checked then lower back down, assuming the block just barely wouldnt clear
Mark the place where the lock nut sits now so you can easily put it all back down
