Anyone having troubles with their passenger-side headlights fogging up when they wash their cars?
This only happens on the passenger side and I had it replaced and the new one is doing it too.
The dealer told me not to get a third one becaue they're replacing ALOT of passenger-side headlights for the same problem. He thought there would be a fix or recall coming soon.

no i don't have that problem at all, but then i always wash the car myself and i don't put excessive amount of water on the car. if i were you i wouldn't really care if there is a recall on it or not. it's warranty work and the dealer has to do it for free, unless it's costing you too much time.
Same EXACT problem

The exact same thing happened to me. I noticed that my passenger side headlight fogged up pretty bad after i washed it. I made an appointment with Mile High Acura in Denver to get it fixed. The serviceman told me that it had most likely been caused by an accident i was involved in where the front bumper was damaged just below the passenger headlight. Anyways, week after getting my new headlight, it started fogging up again. As of feb 3, 2002, i have yet to take my acura back to the dealership, but im starting to get worried about Acruas head/tail lights. My driver side tail light had a bunch of insects inside it, but remarkably, it never fogs up.
What dealership did you take your car to? Mark Jarvis is the guy who i usually deal with, and so far, i have no complaints about their service. Actually, they seem to do a pretty good job.
P.S.
what part of denver are you from???

I'm from Park Hill in Denver. I think I deal with Mark and/or Dave mostly at Mile High. Very nice people. I like the fact that, if you take your car only there for service, they extend your warranties... it's kind of hard to get it there for service, but if they're going to extend my warranty, then I'll take that deal. They won't do/can't do anything about the paint on my car (other than point me to a body shop) but they're trying to help on all the other stuff.
On the first headlight replacement, they asked me if I'd been in an accident. Ha!... the car was still new (I've had it since March of last year)... and it sure didn't look like anything had touched it yet. Now, it's got lots of places where the paint is peeling away from rock chips... I'm giving serious thought to having the whole thing repainted next year. And, yes, I'm STILL complaining about my paint!!!
