I have a 1999 Acura TL, I am trying toI guess reset the keyless entry, and I can not find the passenger multiplex control unit, can anyone help.I bought the car used and the clicker was in it but did not work and also wanting to know if the battery in it is 2025..Thanks in advance

 

Hey Tonya, the multiplex is the fuse box ont he side of the car, one on the passengers side and one on the drivers side under the dashboard next to the doors.

ah, you just need a battery lol. just pop open the keyfob (clicker) with a small flathead screw driver and replace the battery. i misunderstood what you were trying to do

 

The battery was 2nd question on what type is it 2025, and I still can not get remote to work? Thanks

 

You have to do some specific sequence to reprogram your remote. You stick the key in the ignition and you have to like hold the button down on the remote and turn the key to on or something like that. The guy at the dealer came out there and did it for me when I had to reprogram mine when I got a new one. Hopefully someone can chime in on what the procedure actually is.

 

kris knows it. do a search for program keyfob and program remote. i think its something like turning the iggy on and off like 10 times. you may also want to press every button on the remote to make sure its re-enebaled from sleep mode (not sure if it does this) . check the fuses as well
