passed CA smog w/ exhuast resonators removed
i just took my smog reading test and passed..
i dont have many engine mods but..
i remember some people saying that if u take ur resonators out of ur exhuast you wont pass.. we'll i just wanted to let u guys know that you can pass with that mod.
passed with:
1. stock exhuast with both resonators removed
2. comptech icebox

will those ppl do mine when the time comes...kuz i got the megan racing headers...n of course u know they dont have the carb cert. thing on it...but it will pass smog...lol just NO VISUAL CHECK...thats what i need...

Resonators are used to quiet down the exhaust noise, not for any emission-related purpose. It is the catalytic converter that is used to reduced exhaust emission.
