i just changed my oil and drove about 10 miles and i rechecked the oil and is the color on the dip stick supposed to be light brown?
also when you open the oil cap are you supposed to be able to see the oil cause i look throught the hole and i cant see any oil all i see is the inner parts of the engine.

Make sure to not overfill, the TL holds 4.6 quarts.
When taking the cap off you will only see the inner parts with an oil film covering the parts.
Also the crush washer, is something that you will need to get from Honda or Acura. It is not a standard washer, it actually crushes when you tighen the drain plug.
When replacing the filter, hand tighten only. Tighten as hard as you can with your hand, do not use a wrench to tighten.
If you tighen with a wrench, it will be extremely difficult to take off next time.

also why i ask is cause i could swear when i bought the oil from the container it look light blue.
and for the reason why i asked if you were supposed to see the oil from the oil cap is cause my older car a 97 eclipse gst you could actually see the oil from the oil cap.
thanks again.
