Parking lot and bumper scratched

Guys...!

Some asshole..drove into my rear bumper at a parking lot in a shopping mall...

I have a Acura 3.2 TL (Black). Can anyone suggest any touch-up paints and places I can find it.

Thanks..
Santoo

Welcome first of all, is it a deep scratch? minor scratch? I would never think of using touch up paint ( depending on size ) because it will just make it worse. Take it to a body shop and get a estimate to paint the whole bumper again ( best idea ), and if you have any rock chips those can get eliminated.

Your cheapest bet is to try a touch up yourself. See how that turns out, then, if you're not happy, get a quote. My Dad and I have fixed many chips/scratches w/ these paints. Works great.

Acura touchup paint avaliable at Acura or Honda dealerships.

On a black using touch up you should get good results. On metallic paints it's obvious someone used touchup since the touchup paint color (straight from Acura) is not the same, from what I observed.

First..Thanks..guys..for all your insights.

The scratch is about 10-12inch in length and 4 inch wide. Not deep though.

Will try touch-up paint...initially and then try to get a quote from a body-shop.

Any thoughts on estimates for getting the whole bumper re-painted ?

thanks

Claim it as a hit and run and let the insurance pay for it. Did you get a police report? If not then you should! Good luck!

I feel your pain bro! I got rear ended about a month ago and just got my car out of the shop on Friday. I went to the Best Buy to get a new Laptop and parking was very full. I came out afterwards only to find out that some jerkoff hit my car right at the passenger side front wheel well and left a pretty good scuff! At least they didn't hit the new bumper that I just had installed.
