Parking break indicator on/off while driving

Hello folks,

Couple of days ago I noticed parking break light went on and then off several times while driving my 2000 TL. I am the original owner of the car, take my car for maitanace according Acura guidelines. Car has 56K miles. Also I vertually never used parking breaks.

Any ideas what might be going on? Thank you all in advance.

i was getting this alot for a while. i found out it was the way my brake fluid cap was on. the float was sending a false signal to turn on the light. i would take the cap off and put it back on tight first (also make sure you have enough fluid in the reservoir). then of course if it doesn't work try the obvious: put on the parking brake and release it to see if it goes away. otherwise it should just be a sensor issue.

Yeah ! brake fluid is low cause you might need new brake pads or you have
leak ...... Fill up the reservoir the light should go out ..........

The float in the cap switch is bad most likely...unless OF COURSE you need brakes pads
