Question Parking brake question

I was stupid enough and drove approx. half a mile with my parking brake on. Could I damage the brake after that ??

Thats one thing I don't like about the TL is the foot park brake. Maybe because I am used to the hand brake on all of my Accords. It seems natural to shift into reverse/park, and thenuse the hand brake, as opposed to finding the lever to take off the foot brake. This won't however stop me from getting a TL-s late in 2001.
