They look pretty tight, a little different. I think it looks better when the face of the spokes is left stock color and the inserts are black.

Theres alot of people that dont like painted stockies on here, personally I do but they have to be done right. You went with something diff that might look ok but you gotta show more pics.

looks good from the crappy angle we have here - post up a shot of the whole side from a distance so we know what we're looking at.

I love it. Different, but with the sweet stock wheels. I wouldn't do it on my Red TL, but IMO it looks very cool and original on your black one. Nice, creative work!

i think they look good bro. cuz you've got a black ride. otherwise no.
if i was you i would have reversed it and painted the parts that you had taped off and left the center part unpainted. that would have looked good for any color.

theres another thread were a guy has them reversed. anyone seen it in a while?

 

shouldnt have went with the smaller size tire either.. it makes the car look that much higher.

also, i think if one wants to paint their rims. they should get it done through a shop.. not a fan of rattle can work on wheels, it just leads to more problems later on.

^^yeah youre right there..when I had the alignment done the little arms for the wheel sensors took a barely noticeable amount of paint with them..

but-they make plenty more rattle cans as touch-up..lol

Im actually considering powdercoat/clear coat..if not too much $$$. Really I want a set of 18's and use the stockies as my "winter" rims..

Thats a good idea for when I get new tires... lol

OP: they look good....theres a lot of contrast there though....

 

i dont like it too much..i painted the inner triangles of my type s wheels flat black and left the part you painted alone..i have seen others do this (got the idea from them) and i think it looks much better that way..but i love the color u used...might want to do that to mine since its slammed and an SSM looks like you did a really good job tho!

 

I went all black and love it... I went glossy tho. Rattle can FTTW! (For The Temporary Win)

Looks good but I think Mister_TL got it down right by painting the insides of the rim instead of the face of the rim. ^
