Painted my calipers today. Finally!
Finally got around to paint my calipers. I got the kit which I felt was pretty cheap. 15 bucks...
This is me starting up.. Honestly I think the paintbrush that comes with the kit is crap. A foam applicator I think would be much better, but I managed.
Here it is done... I wanted to paint the hub, I just felt that was overkill. Maybe after I see how it dries up.
Here's what it looks like complete with the wheel on.

black is stealthy--
see parts stores or website for complete color selection- they make most colors- red yellow black silver etc
its made by Duplicolor~
best results come from sanding off crud and rust with a wire wheel on drill, or at least wire brush or sandpaper
Paint the inner rust edge of rotor and its outer edge (after cleaned)--looks awesome when done fully
Mine are gloss black, even the suspension part behind brakes is blacked out for the total look
the brush is good for getting into the edges but paint dries in it quickly between coats-
3 coats suggested
buy a few foam brushes and a $2 pack of the flux brushes- same as came with kit
One brush per coat is about right if you hustle..set it down= throw it away
duplicolor kit will do 4-5 cars, so have a party!!

Maybe I would've done the hub if it weren't for that brush. I think my fiancé has better brushes to do her makeup. Tomorrow I should have a better idea what the finished product looks like and maybe proceed with the hub in a few days. That brush just made it seems as if it was going to have that "brushed on" look. I want to make sure it has that smooth finished look...

DO NOT DANGLE the brake caliper from its hose when doing brake work!!!!!!
Tie it to the suspension with a wire or couple of zip ties together for more length
Expensive problems can result from mistreating the TL
