Talking Painted Calipers

Just painted my front calipers today as you can see in the pics below. Painted them with the same paint and color that i used on my engine cover. First i cleaned them with a wire brush, sanded lightly, wiped them down with some soapy water, rinsed, and then dried them off. Took the brake pads out completely as well as the metal clips. Baged the rotors and news papered up the fender area as well as the wheel well area with the brake lines and all that good shit to prevent over spray and paint getting to places it shouldnt. Yes its High Temp. Car's sitting on jack stands overnight to ensure thurough drying. Gona do the two back calipers tommorow after work Anyways, will post pics of the back ones tommorow. Later.

Talking All 4 Calipers painted!

ok, all 4 calipers are done and they all came out great. Looks very clean except for the fact that there behind my dirty ass stock Acura wheels which will be gone in two days. On thursday my TL is getting compeletly hooked up. GONA LOOK COMPLETELY DIFFERENT WITH EVERYTHING ON. CANT WAIT. Here are some quick pics of the calipers behind the wheels all done. Later.

I am sure once your aftermarket rims are on, the calipers will show more and look awesome!

But, I gotta ask, where do get all of this free time?

Welll, as you know, X-MAS is almost here and that means Winter Break for us College Students. I do work part time and i go to college 2 times a week. But i do make sure i leave myself a nice weekend everyweek. I never work or go to school on thursday, friday, or saturday. But since im on winter break for a while now, this was the perfect time to paint my calipers since im having all this work done on thursday. Anyways, when you want something done, you will do it no matter how little time you have.

Oh yeah, the college years. I miss those. But, now that I have a good career (thanks UT Austin!!!), I can buy more toys.
