I just finished up repainting my shift plate, and was wondering what you guys thought about paintin the radio knobs the same color ???

i know there was a guy around here selling some nice aluminum finish radio knobs, but he said they wouldn't fit my '99 perfectly..a little too small

i was thinkin i could paint the knobs to get that aluminum look and match the shift plate....BUT would it be easy to UN-do that if i looked like hell?

how easy would it be to strip the paint off?

you could probably buy another set of knobs at the dealer for pretty cheap. Doesn't sound like a bad idea. find out if you can get a replacement first. Let us know if you do paint it.

 

Why don't you try to buy a set of the knobs off of someone who ordered the metal ones? I'd bet $5 shipped would do it.
