Paint probs.
Ok, first thing to be said is that my dad sucks at parking.
While I was on holiday in England my dad backed up in the garage, and he was so close to the edge that the whole mirror hit the edge and bent backwards. The paint came off the whole rim of the mirror. I looked at some of the previous posts on paint chips, but realised that it would be very hard to paint the whole rim of the mirror with touch-up paint. Does anyone know how much it will cost to get the rim painted and if their is an autobody shop in the Tampa Bay area that charges good rates.
I'm just glad it isn't a Pontiac mirror which is not moveable, as it would have been ripped off.

lol well theres plenty of good places here to take car of business. Crown acura uses dimmit auto body for their paint. i had my hood repainted there and it came out fantastic, and the hood is the hardest part. just FYI though, your looking at painting the ehtire mirror probably... otherwise it could look funky.
and tell your dad next time to have you move your car

Thanks guys!
He'll be happy to know how much thats gonna cost him, believe me
Luckily I am usually the one who parks the car, and I have not yet given the car a booboo.
(Fingers crossed).
Just 2 weeks after getting the car, my dad backed into a mailbox and hit the gas instead of the brake for a second. That was about $500 I think because they had to repaint the whole thing, and we took it to the Crown collision center. Thank goodness the mailbox wasn't brick
