Thumbs down Paint chips on front kit

So it's been about a month without washing my car, because it's been snowing a lot lately. I took it to get a spray down today since the weather was good. After all the dirt was washed off I noticed several paint chips on my front body kit. Is this normal or is it due to low quality paint? I purchased the kit during the summer, but they were out of SSM so they had to repaint the kit for my car. Let me know if you have had the same problem.

thanks for the response guys. I was just trying to make sure because the kit was bought from a dealer who had to repaint SSM over another color since they didn't have any SSM kits left.
