Paint Chips?

i have a small chip on my front hood. It looks like it is from a small pebble or something. What can i use to help buff it out and make it less noticable? thanks in advance.

You can get the touch up paint from the dealer and use Langka to make it perfect. I have not used it yet as I am about to order some today but I have talked to a few people who have and they swear by it.

Here's the link,

I tried Langka before; no good. It will remove the touch up paint even you waited a week after you applied the touch up. Langka is just too strong.

You must really mean we swear because of it, not by it I was optimistic (and even excited) when ordering my Langka. I even spoke to the owner and he gave me instructions. Bottom line, you must have to be a real pro to get this stuff to work correctly. IMO, it was a waste of $. BUT, if you want to try it yourself, why not buy it from me at a discount instead of paying full price?

If you get it, hope you can make it work....and if you do....make a post out of it!

I've had 2 "professionals" fill in separate chips. One is a guy that trained in that, mixes the paint to match.....verdict is still totally not in on that one. This guy is filling in the chips in layers .....allowing the paint to contract and shrink before putting another thin layer. It's a slow process.

Second attempt was at a body shop and they just sloppily filled it in with matched pain.

Bottom line is, so far they both look like chips w/ paint inside....not unnoticeable at all

I have seen spraypaint touch up stuff...haven't tried though. There is a site that sells that paint...I'll see if I can remember the URL address....anyone else know what I'm talking about?

Thanks for the thumbs down on the Langka guys, I had only heard from people who liked it and I think they were "associates" who have a link to Langka on their web site so they get paid to promote it.

Found that URL address for that place that sells touch up paint in several formats (including spray can).

Site is informative...I've just given up on repairing them myself.....and hope to find a technician that does a fantastic repair job
