Pads and Rotors for 99 (and other q's)

I know that this topic has been discussed hundreds of times, but i did a search and could not find just what I was looking for.

I brought my car in to get the recalls done (ignition switch, not tranny) since my car had decided to start randomly stalling on me. So they did the recall but they also told me I need new pads (front and back) and new rotors (front only, or just resurface them) Now since my car wobbles like an old man on crack when I brake this wasnt news to me. My question is what pads and rotors should I get. Cost is my number one concern, and peformance is last on the list (I know, I know, im a huge nerd) I need them to last for like 20-25K more miles, cause thats when im getting rid of the car. . .
suggestions?

They also told me that my tranny fluid was nasty and needed to be flushed. I have 80K on the car now, do you think I should actually go ahead and change it, or just let it sit and get worse hoping that the tranny goes, and I get a new one?

Thanks

do a search for rotora rotors and EBC greenstuff pads or satisfied pads - very common upgrade for our cars.

hard to say on the tranny - the '99s dont go out very often at all (really no more than anyother normal tranny). I would however, drain and fill the fluid yourself at least 2 times. You can also search for drain and fill and you will find a couple threads about that (or you can search my name because I started a thread about it a while ago)

but either way, you can do that yourself and save $100 vs. paying the dealership to flush it out.

My brother and I are using Akebono ceramic pads. They work great. No sqeal, perfect fit and minimal dust.
