I haven't seen one of these in a while... 6 IL St. Troopers pulled cars over within about a mile area southbound on 53 between Thorndale and Higgins. Eeeeek!

I wonder where else they are going to try this....

 

Yet another example of troopers trying to put a lid on speeders. I've driven pass there many times and while I'm going around 80mph, I ain't passing nobody! They drive fast there. Which is also the reason why I like to drive my TL-S there.

Thanks for the tip. I use to drive past there everyday and noticed that there are always troopers in the median. Last week I noticed that there is a white Mustang GT and a black Camaro Z28 both with regular plates. Watch out for these guys!!

 

I saw this on I-294 once near Golf Road. Luckily I wasn't going too much over the limit. I was driving southbound when my detector goes off. After a while I see a cop on the other side in the northbound lane. I think to myself "he must be clocking the northbound lanes". Sure enough, after about a half mile I see five five different cars pulled over by five different troopers. One of the troopers was an unmarked green Camaro Z28 with the flashing headlights and strobes.

What was happening is that the guy in the northbound lane was clocking the southbound traffic, and then radioing to the cops, make & model car and then offenders were promptly pulled over.
