Pa State and emission inspection

Hi, I did a Pa State and emission inspection and a 82500 mile service for about $146. Also, replace a battery w/ 100 month warrenty on it including labor work for $110. Are these prices sound about right or dealer ripped me off? Thanks.

Well, you didn't get hurt, in my opinion. I just replaced a battery for about the same amount (and no, we both didn't get screwed) BUT: I have never taken any car I've owned to a dealer for anything other than recalls. I've had the same mechanic for 15 years and they do everything. As long as it's correctly documented, you will preserve the warranty. In the future, call the dealer first to get a quote on service, then post here or establish a connection with a good mechanic in your area.
