256 miles and running fine Too early to tell though. Taking my car to the dealer tomorrow to have the spoiler put on.

I think my front-driverside tire is low too. I'll have them fix that. Also touchup paint might need to be put on the front bumper. Small amount.

Was it hard to come across an ABP?

Actually this dealer had 2 of them. Does the ABP only come on TL-S? Or was it available on ALL TLs?

I've not seen it on regular TLs so I was just curious. Wonder if they did this similar how they had the special color Electron Blue Pearl for the 2000 Civic SIs.

It only comes on the TLS and the only color that doesn't come in the other colors. I love that, it was 1 of 2 factors that had me get that color. You really don't see to many around and it's soooooo pretty! Kind of like the Civic Si Electron Blue, you know it's a Si from miles away because of the color, and you don't see a ton of them!

Awesome Type S Lady!

I love it too. The color is just flat beautiful. I owned 2 silver cars before my TL-S and wanted silver but this color jumped out at me.

The fact that it's only on the TL-S is very cool and you can indeed spot it from far away. Now that being said I wonder who has the production numbers for our cars?

It seems the 03's with tranny issues purchased them early on in 02? Is this correct? If so, I'm an early 03" purchase of an 03" TLS so I think I'm in the clear!

I hope mine is ok. I just got it so my car should've been of the last batch of production.

What kind of spoiler did you get? What are your plans? It's funny, I still get people complimenting me on the color. I've been asked twice if I had it specially painted because they hadn't seen that color before. It's awesome! I love pulling up next to another TL driver and they role their window down and say is that a new color? I didn't see that when I went shopping for my car.

Type S Lady,

I'm getting the one from Acura. I guess the "stock" spoiler. I don't have any real plans beyond that. Perhaps upgrade the speakers and add some amps. I like the skirts but think it'll make the car too low and I don't want to deal with scraping.

Yeah it's the most beutiful blue I've seen I still need to find the production numbers somewhere.

How much do they change you for the spoiler?

28,000 miles. Purchased 04.2002. So far, no problems at all. Runs great. NBP w/tan. M5 spoiler on decklid. No other mods except K&N. Well, except I hit a deer and took out the front end.

16K Miles. Just flushed the fluid and added a tranny cooler last night. Fluid was dark brown which has me concerned. No functional or performance problems with Tranny at this time.

Chuck that sucks... TL + Deer = Bad thing

I negotiated and got it for half-price when I bought the car. I'm getting it put on tomorrow morning.

In my opinion the [a] spoiler makes the most significant difference.

Yeah, $4,800 bad thing.
Hood, bumper, radiator support, radiator, ac condensor, bumper support, lights, etc.etc. It was fun.
Hey, but the tranny is still holding up. Well, now that I said that, better keep the cell handy for the trip home tonight.

My VIN was not in the transmission TSB listing affected vehicles. I have 2700 miles and no problems so far but maybe its too early to tell.

Well in the meantime just gotta enjoy our cars and keep on trucking...

Maxx, do you know the recommended mile intervals for putting the fuel addatives? I usually use Chevron Techron fuel system cleaner.

Thanks,
Scottie

Bought mine 08/02, 14,000 miles on it. Today the VSA light started to flicker while driving, during warm up( first ten min). Everything else seems fine, so far. Keeping a weery eye on it!

9,000 miles and trany is still working good like new. SRS light turn on at around 7,000 miles, sensor replaced by dealer with no charge. No other problem.

4,500 miles built in Feb, 03, purchased in May, 03. No problems with the transmission but I do wish I could turn off that damn Grade Logic control while in D5.

Put in a B&M tranny cooler just to help that $4 qt. Honda fluid around a little while longer. Didn't even have to take off the bumper cover to do it!
