Outside Temp Default
#2
It should be zero. In that way, you will not offset the read temp result with the sensors by any degree. That is what you do. Some people want to purposely lower the temp result so they can be absolutely sure that the water on the road is water and not ice.

recently i adjusted it to -1C cuz i notice that it reports the temp 1-2C higher than what it really is outside. but then again i still prefer listening to the radio for the temp along with the 5-day forecast.

dee diddy: Don't forget that the book tells you that you have to be moving at over 15mph for the gauge to be accurate because reflection in the bumper, heat from other cars and other factors affect the reading.

thx for the tip maxx96...i'll be paying attention to it next time. but i've always wondered why the temp gauge is down by the bumper with the exhaust from the car in front. i just think they could've put it somewhere else like where the wipers are.
