Outside Temp Calibration

Outside Temp Calibration
I have an 02' TL-s. Some time ago I was meesing around with the trip and reset buttons and held both in at the same time. My outside temp adjusted, but I don't know how to recalibrate it.
Does anyone know how do do this? I think it's ~5 degrees off to the high side.
Thanks!

First you have to drive around 5 minutes to get an outside temp reading via the bumper sensor. Then pull back in your driveway and have a temp guage set outside there.
Now turn off car, Press and hold trip and reset buttons while starting car- that should bring up the temp adjust
If you do the same procedure while not starting the car- it resets the oil mileage meter

You just need a accurate temp gauge out side to tell you the temp push and hold in both trip and reset buttons till it changes, then use the buttons to adjust up or down to the temp on the other thermometer. (i believe it will only adjust like + or- 3deg

I put my sensor in ice water and checked to see that it read 33 or 34 degrees (it actually read 34 - so I didn't change it). It's a good way of getting the temp to a known constant so that you can verify it's accuracy & adjust if needed.
