I am waiting for my TL-S Black/Black, which (I'm told) will be here in a week or so (3/20). Does anyone have a photo or a link to a photo to the optional steering wheel? Would it look stupid with the black/"bowling ball" trim? If I get it, I want to get it all at once so the vehicle warranty will cover it. I have ordered the spoiler and under-body kit. THANKS

 

The steering wheel is also bowling ball black. If you like the bowling ball trim it looks nice. Personally I'd get black/black and rip out the bowling ball and replace it with real fake wood.

 

I drove a TL TypeS today with the wood trim steering wheel. The sides (about 2:00 to 5:00 and 7:00 to 10:00 position)are leather. The top and bottom are wood trim plastic. I did not like the feel of the smooth plastic as well as the fell of an all leather wheel. But, it sure looked nice. Also, consider getting the wood trim A/C vents. They add a lot to the looks of the interior. They are only $48.00.

 

Comp-Time, how much for the wheel? Was the leather perforated on the wheel?

Wheel is $583.00 and yes it was perforated. Looks very nice.

 

IMO, i think the "black wood" steering wheel would look sweet in the interior. what's with people ripping it out and replacing it with "faux" wood??
