Which option to go with?

A local Acura dealer quoted me the OEM body kit for only 1200US, is it a gd deal?

and

i found a set on Ebay, only the front is Anthracite but it's black and need to be repainted in Anthracite if I get them, it's only 600 dollars + shipping however

so which one i should go? buy it at acura or on ebay?

yea i have looked at that site, dealry acura in FL

but shipping and customs are killing me since i am living in canada

shipping would be over 100 to canada and custom duty tax is around 20-25% of 900 dollars, so that would be the same too~

i ordered some tires from tirerack for 304 and they charged me like 120 tax!!!

well, if you take it to a good autobody shop, they'll sand it down, or do something and repaint it the color of your choice.....it will match about 98% of the rest of the car.....not a big deal.....why, did you find a cheap one on ebay??

I paid premium for mine when I bought the car new from the dealer. $1200 dealer installed is definitely not a bad deal (not good...but it's fair).

1200 from an acura dealer is not expensive at all seriously, and in canada it's not easy to find~

but now i bought one at 600US on Ebay and get the job done free

so why not? hehe

no doubt

but shipping them into CANADA is another story, while you enjoy a tax-free sale, I will have to pay about 30% extra + shipping, which makes it a lot more expensive.

why not buy at a dealer if the price is about the same, and u can pick them up right away. no shipping hassels and waiting.

but now i got them for a gd deal, painted and installed free, why not?

my car had an accident 3 weeks ago and it's at a body shop now

they only carry wing west kits but i prefer the OEM

the owner of the body shop tried to get me a set of OEM body kit but it's too expensive, and he asked me to find one myself so he will do the paiting and install free~

he claims insurance company for 7500 dollars and he should do that for me FREE!!!! LOL

the body shop is specialized in honda and acura, they also fix a lot of mercedes and i saw some WRX STi as well, they use all OEM parts too

my car is ready and i will pick it up tmr
