Opinions wanted on wheel brand...

I was going through the 'For Sale' forum and noticed snook789 had some interesting looking 18" wheels for sale. Any opinions on the brand? I couldn't find anything really on the web searching for them. I checked out TireRack and WheelSpec, but couldn't find the brand. I'm a newbie so maybe I asking a dumb question, so go easy on me...

Are there brands, wheel types, etc. I should try to steer clear from?

If you guys are going to slam them, please don't post, just send me a PM, I'd rather not have negative comments that might sway other potential buyers who for one reason or another want them.

Reading off the wheel pic, I think it says DTM.

no no no american rims... and stay away from cheap tuner wheels too, like konig and those no name copy cats...you drive a +30k car, hook it up like one. and don't go chrome unless it's on a 23inch escalade rims...hehe tacky on japanese four door sedans...

anything u find in a magazine that gives you like 4 wheels and 4 tires for 18inch at 1200...no good.... well...but then racing hart evos are pretty good for the price... if u got the loot, racing hart 3 piece rims are the way to go... too bad they don't make m5s anymore...

I started checking out the BBS LM over at TireRack since they're on sale. With a set of four you save over $1k. But there's too much rim showing, so I decided to hold off until I find another set that really suits my personal style... Thanks for all the advice everyone, it really helped me narrow down my selections. Also props to those who recommended TireRack, since they have a virtual 'preview' engine to see how different wheels would look.

Hey Bluextc have you checked with Spreewell Racing over in San Gabriel in Cali. cause I was able to buy my 3 piece M5's from them less than 2 months ago. Their ad is in Sport Compact Car. Ask to speak to Rex, he'll hook u up.
