Hi, I'm glad someone pointed out this site to me. I was reading www.maxima.org and it depressed me. Everyone complained and complained. Nice to see people here have lots of nice stuff to say about the TL.
I've decided to go with a TL but aren't sure if I should get the 2001 without nav or wait for the 2002 which has all these new refiments. I have been offered 28,400 out the door price including tax, destination, motorvehicle fee, and gold trim. You think I will be able to get anywhere near that price with the 2002 or will it be selling at most a few hundred below MSRP which would cost me close to $2500 or so more than the current offer. Opinions?
Also, I wan't the spoiler but I cant make the dealer budge from $700, possibly 600 lowest. Is the after market one they sell here for $250 just as good and is it hard for someone who stinks at arts and crafts to install it properly?
Thanks for the feedback.

The MSRP for 2002 is going to be about the same as it always has. About 28,500 plus dest.fee. Add your gold trim and that's how much you should pay. NAV will still be $2,000 more.
The TL-S will be $31,400 w/o NAV. If the S-type features can be passed up, stick with the reskinned TL.

I've actually gotten that price from several dealers, even lower since then. Several people emailed me saying they paid only $200 above invoice so I'm still being overcharged considerable, especially since the 2002's are right around the corner. I'll give your dealer a call and see what they offer. Thanks.
