it's been about 3 weeks and about 2500 miles overdue of an oil change. i know you have to change your oil every 3k miles, but i just didn't have the time and kept delaying it.
Next thing i knew, it was time for the second (next) oil change. I've changed the oil, but after a week - I noticed the engine is louder when idleing and it seems to *work* harder when accelerating on the highway. Is it from my missed oil change?
i remember standing next to the car and then sitting back in and wondering if i already started the car - that's how quiet it was before.
I'm scared that i hurt the transmission in some way. I'm also wondering if it's normal after reading the threads about 'unusual' noises.
-- it's an '00 at 78k btw.
