OnStar and CEL

I was wondering how many of the OnStar features our TLs have....if the check engine light comes on during a trip....can we call onstar and have them tell us what code it's sending?....or the problem?

I asked OnStar if the "remote diagnostics" work on the TL. I was told that it would not work. The other features (remote unlocking, remote activating the horn, etc) do work.
