One touch open/shut sunroof?

I think this might be possible with an automatic window roll-up module you'd get with an aftermarket car alarm. I'm considering getting an aftermarket alarm just to make all my windows auto up and down. Be warned, I think this could be an expensive proceedure.

Its easy, all you need is one of those timers they use for alarms. Not a window module, just a timer. For my alarm I wanted the sunroof to close on arm. We hooked a timer up to it to trip the close switch for a few seconds, works great! For me we also had to give the sunroof power as well as the signal to close but you won't have to worry about this 'cause you'll have the key in. Should be easy! I might mess with this - I'd like my switch to be one touch - like I said, mine only closes on arm.
For close we can do it - some sunroofs are more complicated than ours and its not possible to do. From any position holding the close button closes the sunroof. Other cars, pressing the close button when its closed causes it to vent (moonroof), if you just send a signal to close to these types of sunroofs it will close all the way and then vent... its near impossible to figure out when to stop sending the signal so it doesn't vent.
Open should be just as easy I think, though I haven't tried yet. The only problem is that if it is vented you'll have to close it before you hit open... hitting close will send a signal with your timer (for auto close) for a few seconds... chances are you won't wait a few seconds and you'll hit open as soon as its not vented anymore... what happens if its recieving both open and close signals? Maybe you could turn off the close timer if open is hit and vice-versa... not sure if thats possible though.

autoloc.com sells an electronic one touch open/close for sunroofs. Just hook it up between switch and motor. It's next on my to do list but not for a couple of weeks. Maybe somebody else can be the guinea pig.
