One more gauge question

is it okay to rotate the needles when installing new gauges?

in n4tes install pics, he rotates the fuel and temp needles to install the gauges...is this okay. i know removing them is bad but jus wondering if rotating them is fine

If my rotating you mean move it beyond the position it is naturally at, then yes, you can rotate them.

Correct me if i'm wrong someone, but there isn't any other way to get them in without moving the needles right?

don't need to take out the needles bro! you just need to turn them carefully and tug the new gauges onto the stock.

check this out... you first move the needle so that you can tug the new gauge in... and then push down the side where the needle is pointing down so that it slides under the bottom of the needle base. now you need some force to pull and push down the other side down...
kinda confusing but just be careful, take your time, and you should be fine.

thanks. yea i got it except i made a BIIIIIIG mistake and took out the RPM needle cuz it needed to be cleaned cuz a bunch of spray adhesive got on the base.

thanks to that, i spent 2 more f'ing hourse contantly repositioning the needle till i finally got it to where its supposed to be (actually i think it reads around 150RPM higher than it should but whatever)
