Angry okay need some help with lights

since i cant drive the car i installed some LEDS in my footwells. i just tapped into the courtesy light fuse on the passengers side. the problem is they do not turn off. I grounded it on a little screw in the fuse panel. what do i need to do to fix this. i tried searching but found nothing

you have to wire it into the dome light harness. or put in a switch like i did.

do i have to wire into the harness or can i wire into the domelight wire in the passenger side pillar or do i have to do both?

Tap the ground from your lights into the ground wire in the door jamb switch. The switch connects and disconnects the ground to turn the lights on and off.
