By the way, you may have mentioned it before and I just missed it, but what was your total drive out cost?

To averix34:

"do you guys think that if I put on the WHOLE dash kit, that it'll be overkill?? (like around the nav, stereo, shift gate...etc??) gimme your thoughts".

I debated long and hard on this one. I was considering the black trim marbelized look on the dash. There was a CL-s showroom car with it. The more I looked at it with all that trim on the dash, the more it looked "gaudy" and "excessive". It also shined too much because of the high gloss finish to it.

I finally put my mind at rest and eliminated it as an option after I found out that it is nothing more than thin plastic glued to the dash and not exactly removable if you tired of the look.

Proceed with caution!

P.S. If you can get it the marbelized trim around the front two vents, go fot it - that's a nice subtle touch.

It really looks nice, I test drove one today it accelerated ok. Yet I wasn't moved, maybe because it only had 24 miles on it.

I think it's hysterical that about a month everyone was b*tching and moaning about how FUGLY the nasty 'bowling ball' trim was. Now it looks like many are looking to get the maximum 'bowling ball' effect possible. I mentioned a few posts ago that it grows on you-- and that is quite evident here!

You are right! The bowling ball was getting bashed big time. My philosophy was that the burlwood is plastic trying to look like wood. So the cynic would say "Yuk, fake wood. Why not real wood?" With the Bowling Ball, NOBODY is ever going to think that it is wood, it's just plastic! And as far as plastic goes, it looks pretty damn good!

Now please, Acura, how about the Bowling Ball Shift Knob?

Wow, the front end looks lot more aggressive then the 99-01 ones. If you ever thinking about selling your stock rims, please let me know. By the way, congrats on the new buy.
