Well, I have had the car almost a week now and I think that it is time for me to get my performance parts on the way. From what I read here, TIM is the guy to buy from if I am not mistaken (autocarparts.com. So, I want to know what the best exhuast is for our cars? I have been looking heavily at the Comptech, but I wanted to know what exhaust is on the black TL at the SEMA show that is shown in the gallery section of this site. I also want to get my intake for the car, and from what I have seen is that I am going to go with AEM. Does anyone have a preference on the short or the CAI, and what is the sound differences? On the Type-S did they change any of the intake and exhaust? I was thinking they did in addition to the engine mods in order to achieve to 260hp increase. So if you do get those parts made for the 99TL, it might not come with as much benefits.

 

Those are just gold tips they put on for the 1999 show.

 

OK, so does anyone know if the cl or tl intakes work on the TL-S/CL-S? I keep finding intakes, but nothing about the type-S. I really want an AEM, but if someone else has a really nice intake designed for the TL-S, then I want it. Want to buy it like right now.....looking to spend money on my new ride.
