Oil Type

Hey guys i just got my first oil change done. I went around to my local department stores and could only get 5w30 Mobil One. The manual states that the recommended type is 5w20 but it is ok to use 5w30. Is this ok if i stick with 5w30? How will this affect my TLS. I did a search and found that many use 0w30. Which oil type and brand do you guys think is optimal for the TLS? All input is greatly appreciated.

5w-20 is ok
5w-30 offers more protection
0w-30 is probably overkill

10w-30 is NOT ok...etc.

5-20 is "supposed" to be more fuel efficient...but I think I'm going to stick with 5w-30.

I'll probably switch to Amsoil 0-30 after my 100k warranty wears out and change it every 10k miles after that.

5W-30 is the best... do a search, 5W-20 is a big scam .... basicly Honda is trying to get good rating for fuel economy... 5w-20 gives little better fuel economy (insignifi****), but offers less protection.... I'd prefer protection over insignifi**** fuel economy

I originally was using 5w30 Mobil1. Once they changed their formula I stopped using them and switched to Redline 5w20 with a Mobil1 filter.

I saw ZERO difference in gas mileage.....

Thats good for mobil1, I paid 4.60 a quart at Pep Boys... don't really have other choices... if you buy it on internet shipping cost will kill you...

I have a 2002 pathfinder and the manual recommends 5w30. Is it better to use 0w30? or 10w30?
