2 quarts is a ton of oil however the same kind of thing happened on my buddy's integra and it still runs like a champ pushing 300+ h.p. on the stock block

I believe that as long as you have oil pressure (and you did), you're fine.

No Oil spots...no leaks no power loss no temp rise or oil light...I am taking it in but I can not figure out what the problem is. I hope using the synthetic oil protected me . I think if it was summer I would be crying now. How would I know if I did any damage. I mean what it the light for ..I know oil pressure but how much oil would you have to be down for it to come on? ..

well if you are burning it nothing you use will protect you any more. did you for get to add the missing 2 qts? if you arent leaking and you didnt forget to add enough then youare burning it, and 2 qts in a week is really BAD

normal white smoke .. I have heard of being down oil 1or 2 quarts and no damage. I hope because I had the synthetic oil film protected me. The commercials for oil drain it all out and run them.//so I figure I am ok.. ya think

Jack up the car and look by the oil pan. Check for leaks.

It's highly doubtful that the car could go from not burning oil to burning 2 quarts of oil in a week. It has to be a leak somewhere. Have it checked out.

it doesnt matter how much you are down! if you are burning it it already means SOMETHING is wrong, and there is some sort of damage or something! now if its just a leak or you forgot to put in enough, you should be fine. FIND OUT WHRER ITS GOING! is it a LEAK or is it BURNING it. if you are burning 2 qts a week get it checked out
