Oil leaking?

On the inside of my right front tire it looks like a thin/light oil is leaking & leaving a spot that gets no wider than approx 4".
Can anyone tell me what it may be?
Just brought the car home from the dealership & next morning as I was backing out noticed the spot.

YA, DON'T DRIVE IT UNTIL YOU KNOW FOR CERTAIN, but it sounds like brake fluid. did you have any brake work at the dealer? Check the brake resevior for proper levels, but even if you have enough fluid DON'T DRIVE IT! as the fluid can get on the rotor and render it useless for stopping.

Did you have your A/C on, That`s where the condensate drain is Just inside of your front pass. side wheel. It`s just water. I see it every day in my garage and wher I work!
Good Luck!

thats the first thing i thought of,water. but if he descibed it as "light oil" after the car sat ALL NIGHT (unless its very humid out the water prob would have evaporated)and then"just got back from the dealer" and our cars have a know brake prob which could have eazily been the reason for dealer visit.just triing to "connect the dots" so to speak.

Back from dealer

Dealer found some engine oil residue. Possibility that where the front timing cover and the oil pan meet there may be a pinhole in the sealant. Scheduled another appt. to have the cover removed & the sealant checked. Till then, not driving the car to be safe.

Thanks for the replies.
