Oil/Filter Recommendations

I have done some research on the Internet and it appears that the Purolator PureOne oil filter seems to be one of the better filters. Any other suggestions?

I used to use Fram in my former car (Maxima), but after reading some feedback, the quality appears to suck.

Additionally, does anyone have a preference between Mobil 1 0W-20 Snythetic and Amsoil 5W-20 Synthetic?

Thanks,

If you do oil changes in less than 7500 miles of driving, save yourself some money and time by going with Mobil 1. It's just as good as Amsoil for 7500 miles (see the independent data collected by Maxima and TL/CL owners on the maxima.org site). Plus, you don't have to buy in bulk and have it shipped (Amsoil) because Walmart sells Mobil 1 really cheap. Go with Mobil 1 M1-105 oversized oil filter as well for better filtration. NEVER Leave oil in for more than 7500 miles. The unbiased data is amazing: the amount of gunk skyrockets shortly after 7500 miles, for both oils even though Amsoil claims 15k miles per change.

Give me a break....like it really matters. Ask someone on the BMW forum and they would say "you should have got an Acura".

Thanks vandy786.

Do you know of any national chains that carry the Mobil 1 oil filters?
