Bad news

There seem to be enough insterest to get the RES into production, but doug has decided to try and get a different production company were he could run smaller batches (ie 100-200) The company is currently laser reading the dimensions of the current RES and then it will put it into production. I try to get the RES out sooner, but it seems like we are going to have to wait for a couple more weeks. Sorry to share this info with you. I really wanted to see how the RES performs on the track. Hope well.

I do have a little bit of good news, you might see the MMII coming out sooner than the RES for about half of the cost. I'm meeting doug next week to talk more about the MMII.

Thanks for the patience.

Bitium, I want one. Do I need to do anything now to preorder it (email me).

And does it use the stock gasket, between the RES and the engine? If so, is it advisable to purchase a new gasket from the dealer?? (do you have the acura part number?)

Thanks!!

Like any new product, i would like to have more info before putting $300 down a product. Hopefully its not as bad as sum of the things out there, like Zmax, Tornado, etc. so any research & field test results would be appreciated.

Nothing like that. The is no pre-order, you are going to have to wait until it comes out.

Bitium -

Did I miss somethinf, or was there a Type-S dyno with the redesigned RES?

Also, did anyone ever test the old RES in colder weather? And see if there was any MPG results.

And, see my post in the CL forum about usinf credit car to make the deposit.

Hate to say that current economic conditions and the need for new tires has really cooled my jumping with both feet.

But I'm still interested.
