OEM Wheel Sites

Are sites like finishlinewheels.com and wheelsrim.net that sell oem replacement wheels reputable? I'm looking for some a-spec wheels and these sites have them for great prices.

Stock rims from Del Ray Acura . . .

I want two rims, but have a hard time paying $320 delivered,
when someone within ten miles probably has a set in their garage,
taken off the car within months of purchase.

We know our customers demand the highest quality along with the best value. That’s the reason we use exact manufacturing procedures to restore damaged wheels to “like-new” condition – straightening, repairing, machine finishing and color matching each wheel to precise specifications and tolerances.
  • Keystone remanufactured alloy wheels are always “like new” condition or we don’t stock them
  • All wheels guaranteed round and true to exact tolerances
  • Lifetime guarantee on every wheel
  • Fast & free delivery
  • In-stock wheels delivered in 24-48 hours
  • Not-in-stock, custom wheel remanufacturing deliveries in 72 hours
Alloy Wheel Remanufacturing Process

The Problem: Damaged Alloy Wheels

The finish on aluminum alloy wheels can deteriorate over time by damage from rock chips, road salt, ultra violet exposure and the harsh and corrosive nature of time itself. Gouges, dents and cracks can also occur as a result of minor impacts, potholes and curb damage. Whatever the cause may be, time takes an ugly toll on an alloy wheel’s finish.

The Solution: Alloy Wheel Remanufacturing

All Keystone wheels are refinished to “like new” condition. Our exclusive remanufacturing process includes the complete stripping of old finish, straightening and welding as needed, restoration of color to original shade and luster and even a new oven-baked powder coat to give a Keystone wheel a lifetime of beauty, performance and wear!
Keystone Has Value On A Roll

Even more exciting than their beauty and performance, Keystone remanufactured wheels typically cost 40% less than a replacement wheel from an original equipment dealer. Each wheel is sold on an exchange basis from our extensive inventories. If, however a particular wheel is not available, we can remanufacture your damaged wheel within a few days.
  • All wheels are subject to a minimum per wheel refundable core deposit
  • Center caps are not included
  • Customer satisfaction 100% guaranteed

Well my question is whether someone can tell that an in demand wheel, like an a-spec wheel, is re-manufactured or just taken care of real well. I've seen posts where people were saying they scored a deal for a-spec wheels on ebay for like $1100, while you could get a set for $800ish + shipping off of one of these sites.

I've already requested a username/password from keystone. Don't they only sell to body shops and dealers?

I don't think they are that much cheaper than ordering from acuraoemparts.

The two factory rims I want are $320 delivered, vs almost the same from reman companies.

i disagree,

i looked into some 05 RSX wheels a while back and the difference in price was hundreds.

Hi All :

I got my 99 wheels done at Keystone and I had to return all four (2 of them for a third time !) to be refinished again. While Keystone has been relatively fair with their warranty, I still had to travel to their warehouse six times so they could send out one wheel at a time plus I had to provide a loaner tire and rim. The extra two times was caused by Keystone mistakes.

I may have just had bad luck, but I would be very careful when selecting a refinisher, especially on the warranty details.
