OEM vs. WW Body Kit
OEM vs. WW Body Kit
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Hey all, Chime in!
-OEM Body Kit {99-03}
-WW Body Kit {99-03}
Between these two, which would you choose, and why? Also, how much would you pay?
Thanks

Just chillen..
OEM. Reasons:
1) Looks the cleanest out of all.
2) Even though majority of the people have it, who in your local area has it?
3) It gives it more of a sharp edgy look.
WW: ( Dislike, but still like )
1) Dont like the little fin design on the sides of the front and side skirts
2) The rear IMO sags
3) Easy to find! lol

I love the way the OEM kit looks, and it's very rare that I see anyone with it in my area. I always get other 2nd gen TL owners staring at my car.
It looks really clean, yet agressive. The WW kit is a lil too sporty for the kind of car it is. It's not a bad kit, but just not my choice. I actually haven't seen one in person either.

My Set-up: OEM front n sides, WW Rear.
OEM KIT:
I personally like the WW rear because it fills in the back better. The OEM rear looks cut-out, and doesn't really flow or line up with the side and front skirts. WW sides are a no-no, unless you get the whole WW kit, but even so, it looks too riceey to me.

are you guys kidding me? I didnt even know WW had a kit for the 2nd gen TL. Is there one for 2nd gen CL?
anyway.
OEM all the way. Unless. Is there a pic of the WW full kit not just the rear?
anyway.

OEM is expensive if you are getting a Satin Silver color, because they don't make the sides in this color anymore. Only place you can get OEM kit is from Ray Laks, do a search to find his info. I got my front and sides from him, best price you'll find, unless used from Black Market. Good Luck, and thanks for complement on my ride.

For the entire kit for my Nighthawk Black Pearl OEM under body kit on my '03 TL-P from Ray Laks was $930. It's pretty cheap to get the WW kit on ebay for like $650 + $100 or so shipping = $760 But I believe it doesn't come painted? So you'll have to get it professionally painted which might cost you a bit.
I agree with the comments on OEM front and side w/ WW rear. Also, Davinci 27, what kind of exhaust system or exhaust tip do you have?

So I got my setup for $630, not too bad, I just have to get the front and rear painted, my OEM side skirts are in NGM already.
