OEM Spoiler Installed...

Did it following the instructions and it went on nicely.

Also, did not need the Acura tool to take the trunk springs off. I left the old springs on with the spoiler installed, but the trunk was heavy. I then installed the heavier springs, but when I opened the trunk it flew up with alot of force. I seriously thought it was going to break something. So, I compromised with one soft spring and one hard one. Now it pops up, then you push it up and its not too heavy, nor does the trunk accelerate faster than the car.

Paint matches perfectly, and it looks nice. I'll post pictures tomorrow. Anyone that has questions, feel free to ask.

I guess you like the OEM spoiler look. I would just buy the mugen rep.

different spoilers adapt better to different styles of mods..

i think the OEM spoiler is better for the the guys who stick with the stock 17's and OEM kits etc: and the mugen is better looking on cars slammed on coilovers with tight wheel fitment etc:

and really, it all comes down to what you like. i would have went with mugen if they made it earlier.. but for me im good with OEM.

careful not to let the trunk drop...if u leave it open and a gust of wind hits it, it slams down. for me it messed up the trunk latch.

I actually figured out what the magnet-like things are for. Too hard to explain for placement, but they stick on the inside of the trunk. When it shuts lightly, the trunk won't latch. It also slows the trunk down before it latches shut. I guess this prevents the trunk from doing what MurdaZ described.

I agree with the different styles of spoiler for different overall style directions. I'm definitely going the OEM way, with OEM l/k, OEM wheels, OEM things. Plus, I don't like the way the trunk slopes down from the rear window. The OEM spoiler lifts it up a bit and gives it a more aggressive look. But, each to his own. YMMV.
