Right where it says the mileage and the trip meter on my 2003 TL base the numbers keep partially dimming out. Disregard where it says your speed, gas, temp gauges because those all work as they should and never dim. Sometimes the trip will be lit up all the way, other times parts of certain numbers will dim. Where it says Trip A or Trip B will sometimes completely disappear. So I just bought (1) print circuitboard and (4) brand new bulbs and I installed them thinking that would be my problem. No such luck. The only thing that I can think is that because of my (0-gauge to 4-gauge) wire setup of my (3) amps and my (4) aftermarket speakers and (1) sub, that my battery might be drained and I might need to either replace my Interstate Megatron battery with another Interstate battery or upgrade it to something more geared for deep cycle like an Optima yellow top? The RMS all together is around 800 RMS, peak watts is 1400 watts I just had the alternator replaced so I know that isn't the issue. Am I completely missing something related to the electrical system of this car or is it just the battery causing this to happen. The fact that it doesn't do it consistently leads me to believe it's the battery. The car starts fine and the headlights never dim. hmmm...
