OBX Headers finally installed! Vertex is the best!
Well, I finally got around to finding a shop to install my headers, along with springs and sways. I live in Maryland, but I elected to go with Vertex in VA and it was VERY MUCH worth it! I called them, they got me in the very next day. I thought the work would take 2 days but they got it done it like 4 hours. OBX Headers, H&R Sport Springs, and Comptech Swaybars. The total was $550. I guess I could've found a better price, but I like the fact that they have dealt with TL's/CL's before, and the atmosphere is the best i've seen at any carshop. I felt like my friend was doing the work at a garage for me. I was watching them install the stuff right infront of me, and when I got bored, Steve (the owner), got his brother to give me a ride to the mall. His brother is the one who worked on my car and everything was perfect. No problems or anything. Basically, if you're gonna get work done, and live in the MD/DC/VA area, hit up Vertex in Northern VA. It's worth it. It was worth the hour long drive i took, and the 2 hour long drive back home in rush hour traffic.
ANYWAY, I got the OBX Headers installed and I dont' know if anyone else had posted the results of it so I figure i would do it. So far I haven't felt a difference. Steve told me the Headers won't start kicking in for another 4 or 5 days to allow the computer to adjust to the increase in airflow available. So i'll let ya'll know in a couple of days if i'm flying past people. But there were no problems with the headers being installed. They fit perfectly. I got the warranty card but i don't know if I should put Acura down on it or the Accord which it states the headers are for. Any suggestions?
Should I just fake it and put down that I have an Accord to prevent the warranty from being void?
I'll let ya'll know in a couple of days when the headers start kicking in!

how long did the install take? I might try to install someone's this week. Fisrt I want to get a new gasket to make sure all the hole slike up. I would rather remachine the holes before uninstalling the old manifold.
I don't know if I buy that whole computer story. The ECU should adapt immediately. If you really believe it takes time to adapt, justt power cycle it and you will not have to wait. Either way, the extra power will be on the top end and won't be huge. It will definitely be noticable, but don't expect a different car, especially when not driving spiritedly.

Nice !
You won't notice a whole lot of difference with the headers, they really don't do a whole lot until you get into the V-TEC range and even then its not something that registers a whole lot with the butt dyno. You may notice that it does smooth out acceleration - especially heavy acceleration.
Enjoy !
