You're over reacting. I have a 2002 TLS AND the OBX SS header. I don't know where you got your information from, but it's NOT reliable. The only Type-S car that it won't work on is the CLS 6-Speed.

I was just at a meet in Orlando and two cars had the OBX headers...
One was the shop owner and he advised that the install was a bi+ch as they didn't want to line up as well as the Comptechs would have, but it just took a bit longer than they expected...
While I have Comptechs, you'll be fine--and have money in your pocket to burn!

I have the other TL-S from the Orlando meet with OBX headers...

Put them on! It's great! (my shop reported no installation problems - and I made a point to ask)

Did you already got them installed. I would do it for you, but I'm in texas right now. I should be getting mines on monday and installing them on tusday, since I have a test on tusday morning. how are things going over there? I will be there on the first of may and also in 2-3 weeks from today for the arrival of my newborn, but I will be very busy then, so I won't be able to see you. BTW I got my headers for $335, shipped, way better than comptech, so $600 savings for no too perfect alignment sounds good to me.

PS: I'm getting station in Germany. I wanted Japan, but germany would do just fine.

Hey Bud, how's it going?

Germany huh. I just hope that you don't get yourself messed up over there. On the Autobahns that is.

I've lived there for many a years and I loved it. I really enjoyed the drives, and the beer.

But watch out, the drinking laws are much tougher over there for DWIs.

Anyway, I guess MMI and MMII are on hold for sometime. Now that I have the Icebox installed I'm looking for something cheaper than headers.

BTW - With the Icebox on top of my light weight wheel and tires I managed to take out a SC430 the other night.

So keep us posted and keep it under 200 klicks.

I'm doing pretty good. The autobahns

I'm hoping to enjoy my stay there for the next 3 years.

I have been out of the loop about MMI and MMII, but if I ever come accross any info I will let you know about it.

I'll keep you posted, I will be loading some pictures later of my car and F-16's F-15's pretty cool.

I'd like to see those pictures too, and I'm sure the two people that are interested in purchasing your car without new headers would like to see them as well.

well, like everyone said.... no problem with the headers. Several TL-Sers have them.. and many CL-Sers do as well... so you should not have any problems....

Enjoy!!

yes lets see pics of the F-15/F-16

Bitium this is an interesting note: My father has been checked out to fly "T-33's" and also a "Super Pinto" among others. Even though the the T-33 is a Navel trainer I thought it was an interesting fact. Those planes are a kick to fly in but I couldn't imagine being in a F-16 or a F-15.
