I live in California and want to get the headers: however, I know that OBX isn't CARB cert. and Comptech is. Has anyone living in California had issues when getting their smog check done with the uncert. OBX headers? If this is something that is commonly overlooked, CARB, I would like to save cash on OBX; on the other hand, I don't wanna have to pull my headers off every two years when smog ck time comes around.

 

Every 2 years? Your car has to be at least 5 years old before you even have to get your first smog check. Even then, once that time comes, I'm going to get mine done in Chinatown if you know what I mean.

 

First ck after 5years? That's news to me. Cool, I just hope I can get a hook up when the time comes. Rusted header bolts can be a bit#h!
