nyc window tinting?
Anybody here have a recommended place to get my windows tinted in NYC that uses high quality film and does a good job? Preferably somewhere in Queens, so I can drop it off in the morning and take the bus/subway to work and back.
I know there's a bunch of places on Northern Blvd. but the one I walked into once seemed pretty scuzzy.

You can try Best Sound & Security, also on Northern and 195th St. Kenny(?) did a good job on my car - cost about $200. But if you want it done right, there's a place out on Remsen in Crooklyn that does the best work I've seen. A bit of a hike though and they're slow as shit, but they are good.

Car Spa in Brooklyn tinted a couple of my friends cars. No bubbles, no gaps in any of the side windows - pretty much a perfect job. Best Sound did a good job, but there are a couple of tiiiiiny bubbles, and some gaps at the window edges, but still a nice job. Really just depends on how anal you are. They use SunGard, btw.
