Could you give me some advice on what mods to do first.
i dont want to spen a killing right now. Just a lil first.

You can chrome out your shift plate since you have a '99. Very very inexpensive mod to do:

I agree with the shift plate. Free mod...makes the 00/01/02/03 owners sooo jealous.
