Nothing important, i am just excited
I don't have any questions or any good advice to offer here. I just rode by the paint shop this morning and saw them working away diligently on my car and am excited about it. I have to tell someone or I may explode so you guys are the lucky ones.
For anyone who doesn't know (which is everyone I am sure) I got an OEM bodykit and just installed it last Sunday/Monday. Then on Monday I turned the car over to a paint shop for a full body paint job. Which means that when I get the car back, not only will it have all new and cooler lines from the body kit but it will have a shiny flawless paint job all over!!! I am stoked!

The car was turned over to them on Monday and the guy said it would take about 8 days to complete. If you have ever dealt with a paint shop you know that any figure they give you is highly speculative, to put it kindly. It really doesn't matter in my case though because I leave Sunday for 2 weeks military duty and won't be back to pick it up until I am sure it will be done. I will pick the car up on 11 July and I assure you I will be there when they open, heehee.
Total cost for the paint job was gonna be $2,600 from this guy (which is very reasonable in my area for an all over job) but I talked him down to $2,000. I am going back with the same color... Dark Emerald Pearl. You may have seen my crazy thread a while back about wanting a yellow one but sanity won out in the end and we are going back with the original color. I will defiinately post pictures when I get it back.
Thanks for asking.....
